Rescue Recovery Kit

My mother cant get in her Acer computer cause she forgot her password.She has Vista.Read on...?

She even lost her recovery disk that came with it and I went to microsoft.com and it tells me I can get the password back but it tells me to put in the windows vista dvd but she doesn't have that either.
I heard of Trinity Rescue Kit but I would have to download the software to my pc and burn it on a disc but I don't put software on my pc that I am not familiar with. So what can I do to help my mother get back into her pc?

She can buy a new recovery disk and start over . She should verify this by calling or going online to tech support of the manufacturer of the computer.
